About Us

Hofstra English Society is the premier club for all things literature, prose, and poetry at Hofstra University. Every week we partake in fun literary exercises, games, and work tirelessly to deliver our magazine Font each semester. At the end of each meeting, we also deliver writing workshops, helping students hone their craft among peers.

Alongside Font, we also publish Growl, a feminist magazine. We partake in fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and only ever clap once.

When are our meetings? 8pm each Thursday.

Where are our meetings? Davison Hall, Room 101.
